"Climbing to Central Ginza from the Ginza Line" (100309-1534)

Getting off of a Ginza Line train at Ginza Station, going up the escalator to the ticket gates, then through the ticket gates and up a flight of stairs to street level.

This is the nice thing about the older subway lines in Tokyo - they're not very deep in the ground, so it doesn't take very long to get from the train to the street.  Getting to the street at Roppongi Station from the Oedo Line (just to name one example that comes to mind) is quite a hike, or - if you have the patience to ride the slowly moving escalators - quite a time burner.
